The Osun State Teaching Service Commission (TESCOM) has successfully completed its data collection and verification exercise for teachers across the state, marking a significant milestone in the commission’s efforts to enhance accountability, prudence, and digitalization.

Chairman of the Commission, Comrade Temitope Mustapha Adeyemi declared that “his achievement is a testament to the Governor Adeleke-led administration’s commitment to responsible governance and resource management. The exercise, carried out in a peaceful and cooperative atmosphere, demonstrated the dedication and nobility of our teaching and non-teaching staff, who are the true pride of our state’s civil service.

“I extend my heartfelt appreciation to all teachers and staff for their sacrifices, understanding, and enthusiasm throughout the exercise. Their professionalism and commitment have earned them a place as the vanguard of civil servants in Osun State.

“The exercise received widespread acclaim for saving tens of millions of naira, which would have been spent on external consultants. I express my gratitude to the leaders of ANCOPS, NUT, and other stakeholders who contributed to the success of the exercise.

“Special recognition goes to the TESCOM family, who demonstrated unwavering dedication and patriotism by participating in the exercise despite the national protest. Their commitment to service is truly commendable.

“This achievement is a shining example of what can be accomplished through collaboration, determination, and a shared vision for a better future.”
